1. This is the perfect time to make changes!
We’re seeing some good sunshine here in Devon. It makes me want to put into action all the plans I’ve had for a while. There’s truth in the sap rising saying. I feel the growth in myself and in the environment.
I absolutely love solid morning routines that keep me grounded and connected all day… doesn’t always work of course, but it is a practice that I do my very best to keep to.
Some of the things that keep me firing on all cylinders are journalling, visualisations, gratitude, meditation, and a bit of a stretch. My favourites in the morning are focusing for a few minutes on my future fabulous life. Really feeling it, to call it in. In the evenings I spend a few moments being really grateful for everything in my life, and then I go to sleep with my personalised RTT recording on to rewire my mind and create new beliefs whilst I sleep! How great is that?! I have overcome so many limiting beliefs using this tool.. Its life changing.
When I am moving myself away from the bread, (sometimes an almighty effort!) I’m loving the chance to eat salads and taste fresh raw food. I especially LOVE seaweed. This salad is so simple, just cucumber sliced thinly lengthways, toasted pumpkin seeds, wakame seaweed and a lemon dressing.
Seaweed supports Thyroid function. Without enough iodine in your diet you may experience weight gain, and fatigue. You might think these are unavoidable hormonal changes (like the menopause) but more iodine in your diet may give you the boost you need, very easily. Seaweed also contains a range of vitamins and minerals including iron, calcium, some contain B12, as well as Omega 3 fats, essential for brain health. It helps protect the heart. Its also been shown to stabilise blood sugar levels.
Just to note, you can eat too much…. So don’t go wild! several times a week is fine.
